Position: Interior Designer

Adams + Associates Architecture is seeking a talented and motivated Interior Designer with NCIDQ Certification or path to certification with 1-5 years of experience. Experience with educational K-12, corporate offices, and retail design is preferred. The candidate should be confident in the following:

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist the Project Manager/Architect/Job Captain with project development.

• Communicating with clients, vendors, and consultants regularly and be able to adjust based on feedback.

• Familiarity with current trends and optimal solutions for our clients are a must.

• Put together interior and exterior finish schemes.

• Presentation skills are a must.

• Keep interiors library current.

• Produce Construction Documents

• Coordinate documents with consultants.

• Collaborate with team members and support project goals.

• Contribute to project documentation and coordination.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors of Interior Design from an accredited university (Licensed or pursuing certification is a plus).

• Goal-oriented toward becoming a certified Interior Designer.

• Proficiency in BIM software (Revit), Sketchup, Photoshop and Microsoft Office.

• Ability to take direction and work effectively in a team environment.

• Actively learn and engage in the practice of Interior Design.

• Highly motivated and eager to learn.

• Passion for design and eagerness to hone your craft is a strong plus.
