The new Iredell-Statesville School (ISS) Central Office Building is an 11,000 square foot single story office building located adjacent to their existing Facilities and Planning department.  This office is designed to centralize the operations of five distinct departments that are currently dispersed across multiple buildings within the district.  A covered canopy has been specifically designed to seamlessly connect the existing building with the new office.  The collaboration between A+AA and ISS ensured that this new building catered to the expanding demands of the district and its staff.  In addition to the design of the new Central Office Building, A+AA worked with ISS to develop a design for the renovated upper and lower mezzanine offices located in the existing facilities and planning building.  The renovation project, covering an area of 10,000 square feet, involved the consolidation of various areas and the conversion of a redundant conference room into additional office spaces.
