Located in Cornelius, NC, the upper level of this two-story office building houses the new North Carolina headquarters for Southern Cross Aviation, a company that specializes in sales and parts for turboprop and light jet aircraft.  The lower level of the building is a separate leased office space.  The building uses wood construction with large glazed openings to provide expansive views from inside the offices and aluminum, wood, and stone finishes for a modern aesthetic. Adams + Associates Architecture collaborated with PTI Interior Design for the up-fit of Southern Cross’ office space.  The office is a very open plan, with a welcoming entry and gathering space, open office space, conference room, break room, and support spaces.  Adams + Associates Architecture also designed the up-fit for the lower-level office space, consisting of three enclosed offices, a large open office area, and support spaces.
